Caps up to 5.7 cm across.
Spores ~ 8.0-12.0 X 4.9-6.0 microns, mostly elongate, and moderately verrucose.
Q(range) = 1.77-2.10 Q(avg) = 1.93
Uv light = neg.
Several groups of Cortinarius eldoradoensis were found fairly nearby but while these looked similar, the spores appeared more elongate.
