suggestions appreciated. looked like small resin dots towards top of stalk, neither cap or pore surface staining at all when touched. context slowly changing light yellow when exposed. Cap didn’t feel particularly slimey nor dry.

I wish I had been paying closer attention when I observed this one last week. Please check another similar observation encountered today about .5 miles away. That one was surrounded by white pines. Except for a lone young red oak closest by, but my guess is it’s relationship was with the pines.
