Cap 6.5 cm wide with close adnate gills. Flesh white becomes yellowish. Odor not distinctive, taste oily. Stipe breaks easily, hollow; 7 cm long x 11 mm at apex, tapers slightly to base with white rhizomorphs. Spore print brown.
Spores (7.2-) 7.3-9.4 (- 11.4) x (4.3-) 4.4 -5.8 (-6.4). Q = 1.50, ellipsoid.
Found by Maple and White Pine in an area that once contained wood chips. Photos taken elsewhere.
