That’s a highly confident proposal given that one feature appears to fail badly.

But, maybe the gill attachment is not so important for ID to Melanoleuca. Here’s another recent observation in support of this obs 277500.

this reminds me of Melanoleuca melaleuca. But I not going to propose this name because the gill attachment is way off from what is expected. Spore print white for Melanoleuca. It’ll be interesting to see what proposals come in for this one.
