Collection location: Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, USA [Click for map]
Who: Dave W (Dave W)
Found on a lawn between South Main Street and the King’s College gymnasium. Same exact location as obs 277336, and almost certainly the same species.
I replanted this mushroom on my property, and after two days it matured to the point of dropping spores. Photos of immature specimen taken 5-25, and mature specimen 5-27. When found, the cap was flushed yellow in the disc. This trait faded at maturity. At maturity, odor slightly almondy.
Spores 6-7 × 4-5.
