Observation 278120: Agaricus L.

Notes:
Starts off with kind of a yellowish cap in the button stage, with white gills that gradually turn to pink, then a dark brown. Spore print is dark brown verging on black. WIDESPREAD. I’ve seen nearly 100 of them growing around town over the past week or so. They develop a prominent brownish umbo with age. Also with age the edges turn dark. There is a slight yellow stain at the base of the stem with age. No particularly pronounced smell. I’ve been seeing them growing in grass.

Used references: It matches the genus pretty well. I have no idea what species it is because it doesn’t match any of them on mushroomexpert, Mushrooms of the Southeastern United States, so I have NO idea exactly which one it is.
