Cap measures 84mm across, stipe is 100mm long x 12-14mm thick with 25mm thick bulb. Spores are ellipsoid 8.5-9 × 4.5-5 µ, amyloid. Growing at the base of a shagbark hickory tree. There are reddish stains on the outside of the stem and reddish-brown blotches on the cap, but it didn’t stain when I cut it. What else can it be?
