Matches with specimens previously IDed by RET range from 99.6 – 100% match with the sequences derived from this material.

Very best,

Rod

We have received the dried specimen. Thank you. It is being accessioned in Herbarium Rooseveltensis Amanitarum (RET).

I think the natural lighting photos should be taken as accurate.

The natural lighting photos sure look like banningiana.

in the “banningiana” like ones I find. This one I called A. banningiana mainly for the delicate build.

Though July has been awfully dry, I’m kind of in a lull right now.

The shot on the paper rulers seems to be much more intensely orange in the center.

If that is accurate, I don’t think this is banningiana.

Very best,

Rod

the possible A. arkansana? It’s not confirmed but it’s certainly a contender. obs 278249 There are also a few others that may be something close to A. agglutinata and possibly A. velatipes for something a little creamier colored.

Another cool yellow Amanita

You really seem to be finding a wide diversity of yellow Amanitas. Lucky you.
