Definitely looks like S. striatum

But I’m pretty sure the clincher is whether or not it was growing on ironwood (Carpinus caroliniana) branches, as this species is only supposed to grow on ironwood.
(See bottom photo), but I can’t tell if the stick comes from it or not.
