Notes:
Growing on the underside of a fallen hardwood stick near Quercus alba, Quercus rubra, Sassafras albidum, Cornus sp., Acer rubrum, Fagus grandifolia, Carpinus caroliniana, Prunus serotina and Carya ovata. Spores inamyloid and smooth. Dendrohyphidia absent. Cystidia present. Generative hyphae simple septate.
