Recognized by sight: The transition from stem to sporocarp is not as pinched and cut off as I usually see in Hemitrichia calyculata. H. calyculata does not have any spores in its stem like T. decipiens, so none of its stem should be yellow. Here it looks like there is yellow in the top of the stems. which would be spores.
