Observation 279038: Boletaceae Chevall.

Grassy lawn near Eucalyptus pilularis. No staining of tubes, pores or context. Pores very small. No scent detected. A drop of Ammonia on stipe left a hollow with no colour change.
Specimen lodged with Hunter Region Botanic Gardens, Heatherbrae, New South Wales, Australia.


Pores adnexed. Cap vellutinous, moist with some pitted areas. Mature stipe has fine reticulation near the apex. Immature stipe has no reticulation.
