all currently known Phaeocollybia are ectomycorrhizal.

are root parasites according to my knowledge, not mycorrhizal.

live oak

These were growing under live oak. Most of the fruits were coming directly out of holes in the ground.

Habitat seems wrong for Phaeocollybia:

no trees visible. Whenever I have found Phaeocollybia, it is typically surrounded by trees. No visible trees here. All Phaeocollybia I know of are mycorrhizal.
