that looked like Lycoperdon are… Lycoperdon. At first I thought I saw a stipe differentiated from a cap, but this was just the sterile base breaking away from the spore case. Interestingly, when I picked a few of these this morning, the spore cases had almost completely broken away from the bases, and the bases were hollow.

Micro of immature gleba revealed presence of capillitial threads.
