some microscopy but the microscope is so old that the quality is questionable. Pictures and measurements (of the microscopy) would not be possible until I return home or unless I mail it to someone.

I am not working with Jean, but I am observing the mushrooms that occur in the Luquillo Forest Dynamics Plot while I work there.

this is an apparently asexual parasite of palm seeds belonging to the same family as Penicilllium. see here: PDF
