Notes:
On wood fence boards in a semi-arid grassland setting.

Thallus greenish, continuous. Apothecia black, epruinose, convex. Hymenium hyalline, not inspersed. Hypothecium dark reddish-brown. Epihymenium brown.

Spores 8/ascus, 1-septate, becoming brown, ellipsoid, not constricted. 16.7×7.2, 16.3×6.7, 14.9×6.9, 17.9×8.2µm.

Thallus is way too well-developed. But I agree, this is the best name I know for things like this, too.
