Who: Dave W (Dave W)
Gills close to crowded, shallow, edges very finely crenulate (when viewed through a loupe).
Spore print white. Spores inamyloid (or possibly very weakly amyloid), hyaline (difficult to see at 400x even with a stain), small, globose or at least nearly so.
On a large log.
At first it seemed easily identifiable to Lentinellus. But several features do not fit this genus. H. angustata, as described on C du Q fits this very well.
