Thallus scant, areolate, light orange. Apothecia crowded, 0.3-0.6mm, proper margin dominant, becoming thin in age. Algae reduced to lower margin, but continuous across base of apothecium. Thallus and apothecia rim/disk K+R.

Spores8/ascus, hyaline, ellipsoid, polarlocular.
Average size 13.2×6.8µm (n=7).
Spore isthmus average 3.2µm (n=7).
*Spore measurements taken after heat treatment. Isthmus measurement was taken in center of spore, lengthwise, at narrowest point between locules, which often curved.
