Observation 280361: Amanita Pers.

In mixed woods comprising Maple, Oak, and Eastern White Pine. 7 cm. in height. Amber pileus with many large grey patches, measuring approximately 4.5 cm. No noticeable ring or veil remnants, though this specimen was deteriorating/dry at time of collection. Gills close, perhaps finely attached. Stipe originally pale yellow, and perhaps showing the remains of some yellow flocculence at the extreme base. No noticeable volva.
