Single specimen. Found in N. Mississippi. Mixed woods, mostly oak, hickory, and cedar. Base was deeply rooted, about an inch and half deep. Volva removed in tact. Forgot to take a gill pic til the next day, so gill pic is after being on a fan for a day. Herbarium specimen saved.

I am very happy to share any and all of my Amanita finds with you. It may take a little while to get all of them uploaded here, but I’m working on it. Glad to be able to share both my pics and specimens for study.

Thank you Debbie.

Specimen is already dried, packaged and ready to send as soon as I can get it in the mail.

Would you be willing to share a part of your dried specimen for study?
