Single specimen. Found in N. Mississippi. Mixed woods, mostly oak, hickory, and cedar. Base was deeply rooted, about an inch and half deep. Volva removed in tact. Forgot to take a gill pic til the next day, so gill pic is after being on a fan for a day. Herbarium specimen saved.

You are quite welcome. I look forward to any information that comes from this. I hope that it will be useful to you for your research.
We have received the dried specimen. Thank you. It is being accessioned in Herbarium Rooseveltensis Amanitarum as RET 810-8.
I am very happy to share any and all of my Amanita finds with you. It may take a little while to get all of them uploaded here, but I’m working on it. Glad to be able to share both my pics and specimens for study.
I am pleased to be here. Gonna try to get as much uploaded as I can. Lots of pics and species to sort through…
Good to have you on the MO team, where data is freely shared, and searchable!
Specimen is already dried, packaged and ready to send as soon as I can get it in the mail.
