Often has a pale cap color. http://www.mushroomexpert.com/amanita_multisquamosa.html
The color threw me off as well. It is definitely yellow-cream rather than brown, though. Does A. multisquamosa come in that color?
Is this the remnant of a partial veil? If so, this mushroom isn’t albocreata. If there is/was a ring on the stipe, then I think A. multisquamosa may apply.
