Found in north Ms, mixed oak/hickory woods.
About 3-4 inches tall.
All white Amanita. Smooth cap with just a touch of tan to the center of the cap.
Veil was still attached, but had started to break loose after getting the specimen home, pics included.
Saccate volva. Only half of the volva was removed in tact.
No KOH test yet, should be able to test it soon.
No microscopy since I don’t currently have a scope, so I couldn’t check it for 2-spored basidia, but A. bisporigera seems like a good fit on all other description comparisons.
