Observation 281083: Amanita amerifulva group (Site ID) (Amanita fulva group)

Found in Western MA, in mixed woods (Eastern White Pine, Hemlock, Oak) in a grouping of three specimens. Cap convex, dry/sticky when wet, tan to pale olive, with darkened region at center, lined margins. Gills whitish, free to slightly attached, crowded, with some infrequent short gills. Stem 13 cm. long, ~ 1 cm thick, white with some pale brown fibers, no ring. Sack-like, white volva.
