Collection location: Hunlock Creek, Pennsylvania, USA [Click for map]

Who: Dave W (Dave W)

No specimen available

I recorded/posted this one only because it seems to provide information regarding the upper bound for cap diameter, at least the ones growing in my yard. Edge-to-edge arc about 9 cm.

Spores (when viewed in profile) ellipsoid to broadly ellipsoid, 9-11.5 × 6.5-8.

The lawn mower found this one before I did.

My lawn mower also runs out ahead of my wife or I when we take it out for a stroll.
