for cases such as the present one. Additional background data from the genetic work on stirps Sororcula: The number of sequenced collections of the stirps from ME = 6. 3 represent rhacopus. 1 represents__sp-QUE03. 2 represent xanthomitra. None represent texasorora or other provisional taxa or temporary codes. Given this limited data and the variations in cap color of the three provisional taxa listed, I think that the present obsevation is most likely to represent rhacopus.
