No odor detected.

Spores are distinctively shaped, verging on rhomboid in profile.

Checking a few Lyophyllum descriptions…

I see more variability in spore shape than I would have guessed. Decastes, and maybe one or two other suspected Lyophyllum I have checked, had smallish globose/subglobose spores. But, L. geminum has spores with shape similar to the ones seen in this obs. This species (as described in Mushroom Expert) seems to differ from this obs. But I think Lyophyllum is on the right track.

Spores non-reactive in Meltzer’s. I added a photo of the print.
