Notes:
The yellow material seen above the stipe base is interesting. I thought I remembered this being part of the annulus/pv that broke away and slid down the stipe. But in the photo I see soil attached to this.

Interestingly, this was growing just two feet away from sect. Vaginatae of obs 281999.
