Notes:
Growing on the partially buried roots of a decorticated hardwood stump — likely oak. Perithecia with amyloid tips. Spores brown and smooth, with germ slits on average around 0.44% of the lengths of the spores (measurement from 13 spores). Germ slits relatively straight. Spore measurements from Piximetre: (20.4) 21.6 – 25.3 (27.7) × (6.1) 6.4 – 7.6 (8.1) µm, Q = (2.9) 3.1 – 3.6 (3.8); N = 30, Me = 23.9 × 7.1 µm; Qe = 3.4
Individual spores: 21.07 × 7.15 µm, 27.71 × 7.80 µm, 24.74 × 8.14 µm, 24.25 × 7.37 µm, 24.72 × 6.80 µm, 24.65 × 7.43 µm, 23.99 × 6.77 µm, 24.66 × 7.13 µm, 23.66 × 7.51 µm, 22.34 × 6.71 µm, 21.63 × 6.94 µm, 24.81 × 7.30 µm, 20.76 × 7.27 µm, 20.37 × 6.36 µm, 23.65 × 7.56 µm, 23.10 × 6.37 µm, 22.28 × 6.29 µm, 23.47 × 6.14 µm, 25.80 × 6.95 µm, 24.30 × 7.02 µm, 23.64 × 7.24 µm, 26.58 × 7.49 µm, 24.21 × 7.54 µm, 25.14 × 7.75 µm, 24.07 × 7.57 µm, 25.29 × 6.59 µm, 23.98 × 6.63 µm, 24.78 × 7.35 µm, 23.45 × 6.86 µm, 23.85 × 6.86 µm
