First found growing up from dirt floor of unused shed; later found growing in woods nearby, also apparently on soil.

At first observation, the stalk had beads of tea-colored ‘juice’ scattered around; later these were absent. Also, later found what LOOKED to be the same species in woods(today), much older specimen that was medium brown all over, and there were white spores on the adjacent ground.
