I just tossed that one out there because of the yellow mycelium at the base. The colors didn’t look too bad for that.

Don’t think B. subtomentosus is a good option.

The cap is too tightly convex, the stem too bulbous, and especially the pore layer too thin (shallow).
Also, the cross sections show yellow tubes but the pore shots show orangish pore mouths.
