Observation 287287: Chlorencoelia J.R. Dixon

Actually, despite what the pix show, these 2cm wide disks were olive green (https://www.empressmills.co.uk/...), not brown or yellow.
This collection was growing in rich, wet soil (not on wood) in a riparian habitat – on the trail hugging the West Branch Wading River on one side and the edge of an Atlantic white cedar bog on the other.
