The curry odor may not be restricted to that species according to him, but sensbilis can and often does have that odor (though it’s not part of Peck’s description).
While your collection spots heavy bluing on the pores/tubes and some on stipe, the amount of bluing on the exposed context is surprisingly underwhelming. It might be a function of age, but I doubt it. The young specimen with the cracked cap and the cut flesh of the mature fb remind me of B. pallidoroseus, but that species never blues like that.
I have made two separate collections of curry-smelling, bluing boletes in NJ that could be sensibilis: obs 280056 and obs 288555. I will look into getting at least one of them sequenced.
