habitat:Growing in stick and leaf debris mostly beech on the border of a depressed area that holds water and stays pretty boggy. About 100 yards from a river.

Cap: brown turning tan, striate, white around the margin, slight knob in the center

stem:Fine myc on the base on the stem, turned sort of greenish around the middle of the stem where I grabbed it, also alittle reddish or dark brown. Sturdy and flexible
