Notes:
Found on downed tree in mixed forest. Very wet and spongy. 4 1/2 inches across. Thickest part is almost 2 inches. Longest tubes are longer than 1 cm.
Smell was slightly sweet like Hericium, taste test wasn’t pleasant. Not acrid or bitter but not good. Very rubbery. Surface was tomentose, visible when magnified. Pores are fairly large (see last photo)

Only thing I find that seems maybe seems a little similar is something like Postia leucospongia.
