Observation 289544: Corticiaceae sensu lato

Notes:
Growing on a hardwood (Acer?) log with Physisporinus sanguinolentus and an unidentified polypore. Dark reddish-purple with 5% KOH. Cystidia present. I’m not confident that this isn’t Mycoacia uda and unclear on what the exact features are that differentiate the 2 although the teeth here do seem to be shorter than what I see in Mycoacia uda.

of paging through color plates in Bernicchia, I see species of Crustodontia, Lindtneria Cristinia Crustomyces and Hyphoderma which all bear some degree of resemblance to one another. I think this is an excellent candidate for Bjorn’s FB group
