Observation 291695: Auricularia Bull.

When: 2017-04-24

Collection location: Lobelville, Tennessee, USA [Click for map]

Who: David Tate (DavidTate)

No specimen available

Found growing on the roots of an unknown tree stump. I originally id’ed them as Auricularia, but I’m not 100% on it. There was something else I was considering, but I can’t for the life of me remember what it was. These were very jelly like and formed short more or less central stalks, which is part of what has me questioning them.
