Recognized by sight: This respresents my concept of Gymnopilus spectabilis as described by Hesler. This shares the same sequence and micro characteristics as Observation 258196 ;
Observation 257058 , Observation 262152 , Observation 238485 , Observation 238486 all represent my concept of Gymnopilus luteus . The sequences are 644/668(96%) similar and represent at the very least 2 separate taxon imo. The micro characteristics differ as well and align with each proposal.
