Two dessicated (hardened) specimens growing on a dead hardwood at the top of a ridge in Northwest Georgia (Gordon County). Caps have shades of orange, brown, cream, and purple and have cracked, lacquered appearances. Stipes are deep brown to cinnamon colored (also lacquered). Undersides are cream to white with small, circular pores.
