Lactifluus or Lactarius? Cap and stem were both pale lilac/pinkish and were very soft and dry to the touch. Gills were cream colored and started to leak a clear liquid when marked. The liquid kept coming out and the gills started to get mushy after about 30 sec. Growing in a deciduous forest – it was on the ground, but it looked like there was some buried, rotten wood under the dirt.
