Found on deciduous wood in mainly Pine dominant woods.
Reference states substrate to be Ulmus glabra and Carpinus. I have not noticed any Elms in this area but there are some “hornbeams”.
Partial definition: Hymenium odontoid with scattered aculei, pale ochraceus to reddish.
