Habitat: Growing in soil in a public park. Near pine, sweet gum, and sycamore trees)

Gill surface: Cream to white, crowded.

Stipe: Blush to cream with hints of yellow, very stocky. Volva is large, distinctly sac-like, and transitions into stipe fairly smoothly; it was partially peeking above the ground when I found this specimen.

Upper surface: Very pale blush to orange creme colored. Edges are beginning to split with age. Gray to white veil remnants on surface.

Notes: Despite its fairly short stature, this mushroom was heavy!!
