Found very near the shore.
Not all specimens were found under genus Cocclobe. Some were under some small palms (see photo) where there were no apparent Coccolobe. Abundant. Fruity smell. Dried some and brought them home. Reluctant to try eating them due to a previous incident with another tropical species.

They are most likely the same considering the location (Caribbean) and also considering the weather currents.

Those really do resemble the C. coccolobae here in Puerto Rico
