Growing under Pinus radiata. Near Amanita amerimuscaria.

Recognized by sight: Small. Cap <4 cms. Dark purple pileus. Stipe washed vinaceous purple. pileus difficult to peel back (maybe .5cm)
Based on microscopic features: spores subglobose, amyloid, not very ridged/warted.
Based on chemical features: taste peppery

Recognized by sight: Spore print is pretty much white. According to Phillips it is supposed to be creamy -yellow.
