No specimen available
Notes:
Two gray/white/blush-capped specimens (with hints of lilac) growing under an oak (one was embedded in moss) on the top of a ridge in a dense mixed hardwood/pine forest in Northwest Georgia (Gordon County), US. Stipes are stout and fairly short and are peeling in some areas. Gills are white (with touches of peach?), crowded, and of varying lengths. I’m waiting on a spore print. Thanks in advance for any ID help! <3
