Recognized by sight: My first find of what I think seem to be psilocybin cubensis. I’ve just got into hunting these guys and based on my knowledge so far I tend to think it is psilocyb cubenis.

as not too familiar with P. cubensis. As far as I know P. cubensis has not been reported as naturalized in Hawaii, so this would be interesting if it is. Try to get a mature one next time as well :)

If you injured the tissue and wait for coloring. Squeeze the stem and see if it goes dark colored. Or cut it in a pattern and wait. Compare colors to what it says online. Could be anywhere from blue to black.
