Flesh: tan buff
Hymenial_surface: Gills white to off white, attached, uneven, waxy
Stipe/point_of_attachment: 2.5-3.5 cm long, thin (<3mm wide), hollow, fibrous
Odor: watermelon rind/sour cucumber
Taste: farinaceous
Spore_deposit: Spore deposit white, spores 3.75 x5-5.63 um
Habitat: Pine barrens amongst pine and oak
