Found on a pine tree in a small grove that stands along the canal right around where The Driveway meets Lewis Street. It was about 4 or 5 feet up the tree from the ground and although covered in sap from the tree dripping on it, the sap didn’t seem to bother or hinder it’s growth in any way. As it was November 3rd and cold there was no discernable scent to it. I did not touch it or take a sample as I was on my way into work but it looked incredibly soft and spongy.
