Habitat: Growing at the base of a ridge in dense mixed hardwood/pine forest. Surrounded by pine straw, leaves, small plants, ground cedar, and ferns. Northwest Georgia.

Gills: bright yellow to green

Stipe: green to yellow, smooth

Cap: slightly conical. green to bright yellow, waxy/slimy. there were some nearby specimens that were cream to yellow colored (they appear to be the same species. gills/stipe are exactly the same).

Spore print: white.
