Growing on the bottom of an large, old, upturned tree, probably a conifer.
Compound caps were chalky white.
Gills were thin and crowded.
Spore print was white.
Spores not amyloid.
Spores ~ 3.3-4.8 X 2.5-3.2 microns, mostly ellipsoid and smooth.
5% kOH on cap was neg.
Spores seemed much too small for the usual Pleurotus suspects.
