On Red Willow (Salix laevigata) bark, north aspect.

Thallus crustose, whitish grey, of contiguous convex warts or areoles, K-. Apothecial initials showing as orange dots, common. Apothecia common, crowded to somewhat dispersed, sessile with an orange disk, orange proper margin concolorous with disk, and whitish thalline margin concolorous with thallus that is K-.
